A Weekend of Fun.

This weekend my older sister, Brittany came down for a visit (actually she's still here!). We were planning on going to visit her in Michigan, but a friend of our family tragically lost his life in a car accident the day before we were due to leave. So, she came down and we went shopping with the money we made from the Ethnic Expo at the Outlet Mall and and in Clarksville at the Green Tree Mall...Needless to say I spent more money than I had intended, but it's ok because my wardrobe was a little bit lacking. We also had a lot of family bonding at a lot of great restaraunts which was much needed. Hopefully today I will get to work on some items for the craft show...:S I don't know though...I feel like I've really been slacking, but I also think that when my sister comes down from Michigan I should spend the time with her...Welp who knows.

Sunday

Hello. I think I have been having a pretty blah week. Today I went to Judy's house and saw lots of very cool crafts to sell in the show. I am feeling a tad guilty because I'm not doing much to help, but maybe that will change this week. This morning I went to work at Fairlawn...it was normal. It's nice though...I love their church. They are really one big family. I wish that my church could be like that, but it's just too big (even though I love their close knit church family environment...I cannot stay awake through one of their services lol). Also, today my family and I ate at one of my favorite Chinese restaurants...yum! Wow. Doing this blog makes me realize my life is pretty boring...if you are reading this then I'm sorry ha. It's strange though because I'm always busy, but I guess I need to find something to spice up my life...ha.

1st Blog!

Well this is my first blog. I guess you got that much from the title, but I don't really know what sort of things to write about in here. O. Well I am taking this class at IUPUC trying to get a degree in elementary ed (maybe a dual in Special Education) and today was our first day of "field experience" I put it that way because it was less than half of an hour long. It was a little bit useless ha...especially after they went to lunch after we were there for 15 minutes haha. O well the kids seemed pretty good. Also, I work at a local school as sort of a tutor for third through sixth graders. Many of those students come from really rough backgrounds, this year started out really rough(last week I broke up three fights in one day... I even threatened to call the police), but things are getting a lot better. Well I think that's a good way to get this thing started up.
